Sports Massage

Sports massage is a type of deep massage technique that helps alleviate aches and pains and prevent overuse injuries which can arise from sporting activities if the muscles are not properly looked after. All sports inevitably use certain muscle groups more than others, causing these muscles to become tight and shortened and the opposing muscles to become weak and lengthened.

Sports massage helps address these imbalances and restore proper muscle function using a combination of deep kneading, frictions and stretching techniques. While it can sometimes be a little uncomfortable, it is definitely a “good pain” and you can really feel it working into the knots!
